Warm Holiday Greetings and a Glance back at 2023
Dear Clients, Supporters, and Friends,
we would like to take this opportunity to wish you a joyous holiday season. It has been an incredible year for ECOFARIO, and we would like to share some of the highlights that have made 2023 so special.
We are excited to announce that we have moved to a new address, expanding our office and workshop spaces to accommodate our growing team and enhance our operations.
We have successfully sold one of our units to Grünewald Papier GmbH & Co. KG. The unit will be used for high-performance fiber recovery from reject streams in their production processes. This partnership represents a significant step forward in our commitment to sustainability and our aim to reduce waste and improve resource efficiency across industries.
Our efforts in tackling the removal of PFAS (Per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances) from contaminated water and soil have yielded promising results. We will continue to work with partners to expand our research into the removal of these everlasting toxic substances.
Last but not least, we are happily announcing that we are currently taking the final steps regarding a full-scale unit installation within a wastewater treatment plant for the removal of microplastics! The unit is designed to treat the water of a city, inhabiting 15.000 people. In addition, we have just finished building a full-scale pilot unit for the removal of microplastics from sludge dewatering filtrates. This unit, which will treat 20.000 liters of filtrate per hour, will be started up next January.
We appreciate your passionate partnership and encouragement, which has helped us to continue pursuing eco-friendly solutions. We look forward to continued cooperation and progress in the year ahead.
We are actively seeking a talented Process Engineer/Technical Salesperson to join our passionate team. If you or someone you know possesses skills in process engineering and sales, we invite you to apply or refer potential candidates.
Our yearly Christmas campaign involves organizing a "Rama Dama"—a community-building clean-up day at Ammersee, where our company is based. The event is planned for spring 2024.
Warmest regards,
The ECOFARIO Team
