The ECOFARIO Solution
MODIFIED HYDROCYCLONES
Conventional methods such as micro-, ultra-, and nanofiltration and more recent inventions have technical and economic disadvantages. The need for filter media or chemical supplementary results in lower specific throughputs, bigger footprints, comparatively high energy requirements, or excessive maintenance expenditure to avoid clogging and biofouling.
ECOFARIO installations work with modified hydrocyclones, the High-G-Separators. Defined flow patterns and the lack of filters make our system an effortless but effective upgrade to your purification processes. A simple design, suitable for new plants, retrofits, and add-ons within wastewater treatment, paper industry, desalination, and many more.
REVOLUTIONARY
FLOWS
Compared to conventional hydrocyclones, the ECOFARIO High-G-Separator provides highly defined and stable flow patterns due to its revolutionary design.
Patented ECOFARIO design with defined flow reversal
maximized efficiency
high contaminant selectivity
minimized plugging tendency

THE PROCESS
Within the High-G-Separator, the polluted fluid is put into an extreme and highly defined rotational flow from top to bottom. This flow pattern creates strong centrifugal and fluid forces that separate contaminants driven by their size and density. Contaminants with a higher density than the carrier fluid are forced into the underflow, while the ones with a specific lower density stay in the overflow. This feature enables utilizing the High-G-Technology for the elimination of contaminants that are either lighter or heavier than the carrier fluid. Through parallel and multi-stage cascade connection of High-G-Separators, contaminants are concentrated while virtually limitless volume flows can be treated.
